Measuring a sofa
Take the width from the outer edge of one armrest to the outer edge of the other, across the widest point, then the depth from the back cushion to the front edge. Brand labels are useless here: two sofas both sold as three-seaters can differ by 40 cm. Corner sectionals need the long side and the short side measured separately, and you should note which side the chaise is on before ordering.
